As part of the project “Improving the Business Efficiency of Energy Companies: Challenges and Opportunities” (UPE-IP), Professor Mihaela Mikic participated in the 14th Annual International Conference on Ecology, Ecosystems and Climate Change, held from 13 to 17 July 2026 in Athens, Greece.
During the conference, she presented the paper “A Digital Transformation Model for Enhancing the Operational Efficiency of Energy Infrastructure under Climate and Crisis Challenges.” The presentation focused on the role of digital transformation in improving the operational efficiency and resilience of energy infrastructure in the context of climate-related and crisis challenges.
The conference brought together researchers and academics to discuss current issues related to ecology, ecosystems, climate change, and their broader implications. Participation provided an opportunity to present research findings, exchange knowledge with researchers from different fields, and discuss approaches to addressing contemporary challenges in the energy sector.
