Mihovil Anđelinović, PhD, is a full professor at the Department of Finance, Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb. His research interests include financial institutions and markets, sustainable and digital transformation in finance, payment systems, financial literacy, and trends in insurance. He is also the director of the postgraduate program "Insurance and Reinsurance" and serves as the head of the Department of Finance.
During his career, he has participated in numerous projects, including Erasmus+ programs such as Sustainable Development Goals in Education and in Action! (ESDGs!) and BOOMER. He also served as adviser to institutions such as the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb and the Croatian Insurance Bureau.
His business experience includes membership in the supervisory and audit boards of numerous companies and institutions, such as LNG Croatia d.o.o., Croatia Control Ltd, Josip Juraj Strossmayer Water Institute, Državne nekretnine d.o.o., HOPS d.o.o., and others. He was also a member of the working groups for the National Development Strategy Until 2030 Republic of Croatia.
Furthermore, Mihovil Anđelinović is the author of numerous scientific papers, books, and book chapters. His works, which have been published in international journals and proceedings, deal with topics such as sustainable investments, financial stability, ESG criteria, cybersecurity in insurance, and financial literacy. Among his most significant publications are the book "Payment Transactions" (2017), research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on stock market indices, and a concentration analysis of the Croatian banking system. His works are regularly indexed in international databases, confirming their scientific relevance.
